Adjudication of Dance Eisteddfods and Competitions
South Australia
With a vast and in depth knowledge of a huge variety of dance styles, I am the perfect adjudicator for your next event or competition.
My passion and dedication to developing the next generation of dancers, and my beliefs, ethos and techniques around doing so, is something that I believe is very valuable within this role.
I own a dance studio in Murray Bridge and have experience in all mainstream dance styles including jazz, tap, classical, pointe, hip hop/street styles, lyrical, contemporary, musical theatre and belly dance, plus many more. I am not a singer but have done both vocal and music training and studies also. I studied dance full time for 7 years and have numerous qualifications including a Bachelor of Dance, Advanced Diploma of Dance Live Performance, Diploma of Dance Teaching and Management, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment just to name a few. I currently teach more than 30 regular weekly classes in a variety of styles.
I have been involved in competitions and eisteddfods as both a student/performer and a teacher/choreographer for many years.
I believe that it is so important to provide dancers and performers, of all ages, positive and constructive feedback in order to allow them to learn, grow, and become the best performers they can be. It is vital to me that student experiences are positive and fun, and that we as mentors, teachers and adjudicators foster a passion for the performing arts, and confidence as a human being. I place high value on providing students with feedback which will both instill confidence, but also allow them to improve and develop.
I am an enthusiastic, high energy and positive person. I am exceptionally organised and a fantastic multi-tasker. I have great time management and interpersonal skills.
